About the QED Reference XT40i Speaker Cable (Pair)
XT40i replaces the XT40 and builds on it. The conductors form a tube around a hollow insulating rod, which evens out current at high frequencies and keeps inductance low. The new Air Gap dielectric holds the conductors further apart, so there is more air between them. QED say that halves the dissipation and capacitance of the cable.
The conductors are 99.999% oxygen-free copper with a 4 mm² cross-section (12 AWG), and loop resistance is just 8.0 mΩ/m. That makes it a good choice for longer cable runs as well as short ones. It sits in QED’s Reference range, above Performance.
Use it between an amplifier or AV receiver and your speakers. Hi-Fi Choice gave it a Recommended award, and The Audiophile Man gave it a Deeply Groovy award.

Yes. XT40i is sold as a pair, so you get one cable for each speaker at the length you choose.
How long a run can I use?
XT40i comes in 2 m, 3 m and 5 m. Its 4 mm² conductors keep resistance low, which suits longer runs. Measure the route and choose the next length up.
Does it come with plugs?
Yes. Airloc banana plugs are fitted at the factory.
