Tech for boats, marinas and people who'd rather be on the water
We're based in Lymington, a short walk from the river. Internet on board, music on deck, cameras you can check from home, and sensors that message you when the bilge pump gets busy.
Antenna. A 4G/5G router with a proper marine antenna, so there's internet on the mooring and along the coast, wherever there's signal.
Saloon. Wi-Fi through the whole boat, plus TV, streaming and music, set up to cope with boat power.
Cockpit. Marine-grade speakers that shrug off spray, sun and the odd dropped pint.
Bilge & batteries. Sensors for bilge water, battery voltage and shore power that message you if something's wrong while you're at home.
Cameras. Check on her from the sofa. Cameras on board and on the pontoon, on your phone.
Marinas & yards. Ashore too: Wi-Fi along the pontoons, CCTV and gate access for marinas, boatyards and clubs.
Internet and Wi-Fi on board
Marina Wi-Fi is great right up until everyone gets back from the pub. A proper 4G/5G router with an external marine antenna gives you your own connection, and Wi-Fi that reaches every cabin.
- 4G/5G routers with external marine antennas
- Wi-Fi through the whole boat
- Marina Wi-Fi when it's good, mobile data when it isn't
- Set up to run sensibly on boat power
Peace of mind on the mooring
Most problems on a boat start small. A message saying the bilge pump has run twelve times today, or the shore power has dropped, gives you time to do something about it before it becomes a big one.
- Bilge, battery and shore-power alerts
- Temperature and humidity monitoring
- Cameras on board, viewable from your phone
- Low-power sensors that won't flatten the batteries
Music on deck, films below
Marine-grade speakers in the cockpit and on the flybridge, streaming from your phone, and a TV in the saloon that works without a degree in menus. All chosen to cope with salt, sun and damp.
- Marine-grade speakers and amplifiers
- Streaming from phones and tablets
- TVs and streaming boxes in the saloon and cabins
- Separate zones for deck and below
Marinas, boatyards and clubs
Ashore, it's business as usual with more salt in the air. Wi-Fi along the pontoons, cameras on the yard and the car park, gate and door access, and AV for the clubhouse.
- Pontoon and yard Wi-Fi
- CCTV for yards, pontoons and car parks
- Gate, door and berth-holder access
- Clubhouse music, screens and PA
Questions about boats
Do you come to the boat?
Yes. On the mooring, in the marina or ashore at the yard, around Lymington and the western Solent. We're a short walk from the river.
Will it flatten my batteries?
Not if it's designed properly. We plan around the boat's power: low-power sensors, routers that can sleep or run from shore power, and nothing left drawing current that doesn't need to.
Can I stream TV on board?
Usually, yes. Over marina Wi-Fi when it's decent, or over 4G/5G when it isn't. We'll help you choose a data plan that won't run out halfway through the match.
What can the sensors tell me?
Things like bilge water, how often the bilge pump runs, battery voltage, shore power, temperature and humidity. You get a message when something's outside normal, rather than finding out at the weekend.
Do you work with marinas and boatyards?
Yes. Wi-Fi along the pontoons, CCTV, gate and door access, and AV for clubhouses and offices. The same jobs as any business, just with more salt in the air.
