Terms of Sale
New Forest Technology Services Ltd, registered in England & Wales, company no. 14901070.
These terms apply when you buy products from the shop on newforesttech.services. Please read them with our Delivery & Returns page, which forms part of these terms. If you're a consumer, nothing here affects your legal rights.
1. About us
The shop is run by New Forest Technology Services Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (no. 14901070, VAT no. GB441340630), at 11 Blakes Yard, New Street Mews, Lymington, Hampshire SO41 9NW. Email info@newforesttech.services or call 01425 705035.
2. Your order
- When you place an order you'll get an email saying we've received it. That isn't yet an acceptance.
- Our contract with you starts when we confirm your order has been sent (or is ready to collect).
- If we can't accept an order, for example because an item is no longer available or there's a pricing mistake, we'll tell you and refund anything you've paid.
3. Prices and payment
- Prices are in pounds sterling and include VAT at the current rate. If you need a VAT invoice, just ask.
- UK delivery is free unless the product page says otherwise. Any charge is shown before you pay.
- If we've made an obvious mistake with a price, we'll contact you before sending, and you can go ahead at the right price or cancel for a full refund.
- Prices, specifications and product details are given E&OE (errors and omissions excepted). We check them carefully, and this doesn't affect your legal rights.
- Payment is taken securely at checkout. Card details are handled by the payment provider, not stored by us.
4. Products
- We describe and photograph products as accurately as we can. Colours and finishes can look slightly different on screen.
- Pre-order items aren't in stock yet. The expected date is shown on the product page and can change; we'll keep you posted and you can cancel a pre-order for a full refund before it's sent.
- We're an authorised dealer for the brands we sell, so products come with the manufacturer's UK warranty.
5. Delivery, ownership and risk
Delivery times and options are on our Delivery & Returns page. Items become yours once we've received full payment. They're our responsibility until they're delivered to you or collected.
6. Cancelling and returns
Consumers can cancel most online orders within 14 days of receiving them. How to cancel, what can't be returned and how refunds work are set out on our Delivery & Returns page.
7. If something's wrong
Products must be as described, fit for purpose and of satisfactory quality. If they aren't, you're entitled to a repair, replacement or refund under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, as explained on our Delivery & Returns page. We'll also help with any manufacturer's warranty claim.
8. Fitting and other services
Installation, set-up and other work (including "Fit it for me") is quoted separately after we've spoken to you, and is covered by the quote and terms we send for that job, not by these terms.
9. Our responsibility to you
- If we break these terms we're responsible for loss or damage you suffer that was a foreseeable result of our breach.
- We're not responsible for loss that wasn't foreseeable, or for business losses if you're a consumer buying for private use.
- Nothing in these terms limits our responsibility for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else the law doesn't allow us to limit.
10. Business customers
If you buy as a business, the consumer rights described here (including the 14-day cancellation right) don't apply in the same way. Returns of items that aren't faulty are at our discretion, as set out on our Delivery & Returns page, and our total responsibility to you is limited to the price paid for the products concerned.
11. Your information
We use your details to process your order, as explained in our Privacy Policy.
12. Problems and complaints
If you're unhappy with anything, contact us first and we'll do our best to put it right quickly.
13. The law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you can also bring proceedings in your local courts.
14. Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. The version on this page when you place your order is the one that applies to it.
