About the QED Genesis Silver Spiral Speaker Cable (Pair)
Genesis Silver Spiral grew out of QED’s Genesis Report, years of research into how speaker cables really behave. Its big 5.5 mm² (10 AWG) conductors give very low loop resistance of 0.006 Ω/m, so the amplifier keeps a firm grip on the speakers, especially in the bass.
The conductors are silver-plated 99.999% oxygen-free copper, arranged in QED’s Aircore layout. The jacket is a substantial 16.6 mm, so this is a cable you will notice. Plan the route and bend radius before you buy.
It sits in QED’s Signature range. Use it for high-end hi-fi and home theatre systems where the amplifier and speakers can make the most of it.

Is the price for a pair?
Yes. Genesis Silver Spiral is sold as a pair, so you get one cable for each speaker at the length you choose.
Is it stiff to route?
It is a thick cable, with a 16.6 mm jacket, so allow room for gentle bends and think about the route to each speaker before choosing the length.
Does it come with plugs?
Yes. Airloc metal 4 mm banana plugs are fitted at the factory.
