About the QED Reference XLR 40 Digital Cable
Reference XLR 40 takes the thinking behind QED’s Audio 40 range and applies it to digital AES/EBU. It is designed first for low jitter, which QED see as a key factor in high-fidelity digital sound.
Three 24 AWG silver-plated 99.999% oxygen-free copper conductors, QED’s Tri-Conductor design, sit in a foamed polyethylene dielectric. That keeps signal-to-ground capacitance very low. A floating Zn/Mn ferrite jacket and a 99.999% OFC outer braid give full electrostatic screening.
It sits in QED’s Reference range. Use it to link a DAC, streamer or digital pre-amp to an AV amplifier, stereo amplifier or other component with an AES/EBU XLR connection.
