About the QED Performance Optical Graphite Cable
Performance Optical Graphite joins DACs, TVs, CD players and Blu-ray players to amplifiers and receivers. The core is plastic optical fibre of acrylic glass (PMMA), with a stepped refractive index and fluorinated polymer cladding. QED say the design is optimised for low jitter, to keep digital errors down.
The connectors are 24k gold-plated Toslink plugs with an integrated grip. The minimum bend radius is 9 mm.
Choose it over the standard Performance Optical cable when you need a 5 m or 10 m run.

Is it one cable?
Yes. It is a single optical lead with a Toslink plug at each end.
Which length should I choose?
It comes in 1.5 m, 3 m, 5 m and 10 m. Measure the route and choose the next length up, and avoid tight bends.
How is it different from Performance Optical?
The Graphite comes in longer lengths, up to 10 m. Performance Optical comes in 0.75 m, 1.5 m and 3 m.
