About the Primare R15 MM/MC Phono Preamplifier
The R15 is the 15 series phono stage, in the same compact three-quarter-width case as the I15 and CD15. Its design follows the larger R35, scaled to a smaller box and a lower price. Primare announced that it won the EISA Phono Preamp award for 2020-2021.
Gain goes up to 45 dB for MM and 65 dB for MC, enough for nearly any cartridge. Loading is adjustable for both resistance and capacitance, and a subsonic filter helps with warped records. The settings are on the back panel.
Connect it to any line input on your amplifier. It suits the I15 if you want MC as well as MM, and any other integrated amplifier or preamp without a phono input.
Genuine UK stock from an authorised Primare dealer. Not sure which Primare suits your speakers and the way you listen? Tell us what you have and we will help you choose. We install hi-fi, streaming and multi-room audio across the New Forest and the south coast. See our audio and video work.
