About the QED Performance Ultra High Speed HDMI Cable

This cable follows the HDMI 2.1 standard, which raises the maximum data rate of the previous HDMI 2.0 standard to 48 Gb/s. That is the bandwidth needed for 8K video at 60Hz (4:2:0, 12-bit HDR) or uncompressed 4K at 120Hz, plus Dynamic HDR and enhanced audio return channel (eARC). It also works with older HDMI 2.0b and 1.4b gear.

It has been tested and carries the HDMI Ultra High Speed label, with a QR code you scan in the official HDMI app to check it is genuine. Triple shielding keeps interference in and out. The cable is thin, with a maximum diameter of 6.3 mm in 1.5 m and 7.3 mm in 3 m, so it suits the slimmest TVs.

It is part of QED’s Performance range. Use it between a games console, streamer, Blu-ray player, receiver or soundbar and a TV or projector.

Genuine UK stock from an authorised QED dealer. Not sure which cable suits your system? Tell us what you have and we will suggest the right one. We install hi-fi, home cinema and multi-room audio across the New Forest and the south coast. See our audio and video work.
