About the Q Acoustics 5040 Floorstanding Speakers (Pair)
The 5000 range pairs Q Acoustics’ C3 Continuous Curved Cone mid/bass driver with a 25 mm tweeter, a dark acrylic baffle panel and Point to Point cabinet bracing. The 5040 is the compact floorstander, for rooms where space is tight but you still want full-scale sound.
Two 125 mm drivers and a 27 litre cabinet reach 39 Hz (-6 dB). HPE (Helmholtz Pressure Equaliser) tubes reduce internal pressure and standing waves, and Point to Point bracing keeps the cabinet rigid.
It works as a stereo pair or as the front pair of a 5000 home cinema. Stabilisers and spikes are in the box.

Is the price for a pair?
Yes. The pair ships in two boxes, with two 5040 speakers, two grilles, two foam bungs, eight spike feet and covers, four rear stabilisers, eight M5 screws and two manuals.
Is it a hard load for an amplifier?
Nominal impedance is 6 ohm and the minimum is 3.0 ohm. Q Acoustics recommends 25 to 150 W, so check that your amplifier is comfortable with a 3 ohm dip.
Can I get it in a wood finish?
Yes. Holm Oak and Santos Rosewood are offered alongside Satin Black and Satin White.
