About the Q Acoustics 3040c Floorstanding Speakers (Pair)
The 3000c range follows the 3000i. It adds a new curved-cone mid/bass driver, satin metallic driver trims and new finishes, in the same compact, well-braced cabinets. The 3040c is its compact floorstander, a way to get full-size sound without a big, imposing speaker.
Two 120 mm drivers and a 26.8 litre cabinet reach 43 Hz (-6 dB). Point to Point bracing and HPE (Helmholtz Pressure Equaliser) tubes calm standing waves inside the cabinet, which smooths the response and lowers distortion.
Spikes and rear stabilisers are in the box. It suits living rooms and smaller listening spaces, as the stereo pair or the front pair of a home cinema.
