About the Monitor Audio Gold 100 6G Bookshelf Speakers (Pair)

Gold 6G brings Monitor Audio’s MPD III high-frequency transducer (a micro-pleated diaphragm tweeter) together with HDT C-CAM cones, magnetic grilles and Macassar, high gloss black or satin white finishes. The Gold Series 6G won an EISA Best Product award for 2024-2025.

StereoNET gave the Gold 100 6G an Applause Award.

On rigid stands with the tweeters at ear height, standmounts give the clearest, most focused stereo picture, and they take up far less room than floorstanders.

Is the price for one speaker or a pair?

A pair. The Gold 100 6G is sold as a pair.

What amplifier do I need?

Monitor Audio recommend 130 – 500 W. The Roksan Caspian 4G amplifiers suit them, and the Caspian 4G pre/power system gets the most from the bigger models. Not sure? Tell us your room and we’ll suggest a pairing.

Do I need stands?

For the best sound, yes: a rigid stand puts the tweeters at ear height and away from the wall. Blok Axis stands are made for this, and Monitor Audio’s ST-2 Universal Stand also fits.
