Silver 8G is the eighth generation of Monitor Audio’s best-known range: C-CAM drivers with RST III cone geometry, a 25 mm C-CAM Gold Dome tweeter, through-bolt driver bracing and Silent Flow ports, in high gloss black, satin white or European walnut.

AVForums gave the Silver 100 8G a Highly Recommended award.

On rigid stands with the tweeters at ear height, standmounts give the clearest, most focused stereo picture, and they take up far less room than floorstanders.

A pair. The Silver 100 8G is sold as a pair.

What amplifier do I need?

Monitor Audio recommend 100 – 400 W into 4 Ohms; 50 – 200 W into 8 Ohms. The Roksan Caspian 4G Integrated or Streaming Amplifier is a great match. Not sure? Tell us your room and we’ll suggest a pairing.

Do I need stands?

For the best sound, yes: a rigid stand puts the tweeters at ear height and away from the wall. Blok Axis stands are made for this.
