About the WiiM Amp Pro

A mid-range streaming amplifier that sits between the WiiM Amp and Amp Ultra. It keeps the Amp's compact aluminium chassis and 60 W-per-channel output but upgrades the DAC, adds Dolby Digital decoding over HDMI ARC and moves to Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.3. Bear in mind it does not support AirPlay.

What does the Amp Pro add over the standard WiiM Amp?

A higher-grade ESS DAC with lower measured noise and distortion, Dolby Digital decoding over HDMI ARC, PFFB feedback for steadier performance across different speakers, and newer Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.3 radios.

Does the Amp Pro support AirPlay?

No. WiiM states it cannot receive AirPlay streams, so use Google Cast, Spotify or TIDAL Connect, the WiiM Home app or Bluetooth. The standard WiiM Amp does support AirPlay 2.

Can I connect a turntable?

Only via a phono preamp (or a turntable with one built in) plugged into the line input, as there is no dedicated phono stage.
