About the WiiM Amp

The original WiiM streaming amplifier: a compact aluminium box that turns a pair of passive speakers into a complete streaming and TV system. It offers 60 W per channel, HDMI ARC, a subwoofer output and both AirPlay 2 and Google Cast, with a voice remote in the box.

Questions about the WiiM Amp

Does the WiiM Amp support Dolby Digital or eARC?

No. Its HDMI ARC connection carries stereo PCM only. For Dolby Digital decoding, step up to the Amp Pro or Amp Ultra.

Can I add a subwoofer?

Yes. It has a wired sub output with an adjustable 30-250 Hz crossover, and it can also pair wirelessly with the WiiM Sub Pro.

Will it run outdoor or ceiling speakers?

Yes, any passive speakers within its supported load, down to a minimum of 2.67 ohms, including two pairs of 8-ohm speakers wired in parallel.
