About the SC15 Prisma MK2 Network Player and Preamplifier
The SC15 Prisma MK2 is the streaming and digital hub of Primare’s compact 15 series. It has the Prisma platform for streaming, an ESS ES9028Q2M DAC for files up to PCM 384 kHz and DSD256, and digital inputs for a TV, CD transport or computer.
Its analogue output can be set to fixed or variable. Fixed suits an integrated amplifier you already own. Variable turns it into a preamplifier, so it can feed a power amplifier such as the A35.2, or a pair of powered speakers.
New on the MK2 is automatic and manual room EQ in the Prisma app. An iPhone or iPad can do the room measurement; Android users need the Zen microphone.
Genuine UK stock from an authorised Primare dealer. Not sure which Primare suits your speakers and the way you listen? Tell us what you have and we will help you choose. We install hi-fi, streaming and multi-room audio across the New Forest and the south coast. See our audio and video work.

Questions about the SC15 Prisma MK2 Network Player and Preamplifier
Can I use it with the amplifier I already have?
Yes. Set the output to fixed and connect it to any spare line input. Your amplifier keeps control of the volume.
Can it drive powered speakers directly?
Yes. Set the output to variable and it acts as a preamplifier with its own volume control.
Do I need the Zen microphone for room EQ?
Only with an Android phone or tablet. An iPhone or iPad can make the measurement without it. Ask us if you need a Zen microphone.
Is there a price difference between black and titanium?
No. Both finishes cost the same and the electronics inside are identical. Titanium is a brushed silver-grey front panel; black suits darker furniture and racks.
