The I15 is Primare’s smallest integrated amplifier: five line inputs, 60 W per channel into 8 ohms and a three-quarter-width case. Choose it on its own, or as the I15 MM with the MM15 moving magnet phono stage fitted.

Best for: A small, tidy stereo system built around CD, a turntable or an existing streamer, where you do not need streaming in the amplifier itself.
About the Primare I15 / I15 MM Integrated Amplifier
The 15 series is Primare’s compact range, about three-quarters the width of a standard hi-fi box. The I15 is the purely analogue amplifier in that range, with no streaming or DAC on board, so all of its power supply goes to driving your speakers.
It uses a Hypex class D output stage rated at 60 W per channel into 8 ohms and 100 W into 4 ohms. There are five pairs of RCA inputs, a line output for recording and a preamp output if you want to add a power amplifier or subwoofer later.
The I15 MM version comes with the MM15 phono board already fitted, so a turntable with a moving magnet cartridge plugs straight in. The board can also be added to a standard I15 at a later date.

Questions about the Primare I15 / I15 MM Integrated Amplifier
What is the difference between the I15 and the I15 MM?
They are the same amplifier. The I15 MM has the MM15 moving magnet phono board fitted, so you can connect a turntable directly. If you buy the I15 now, the MM15 can be added later.
Will it work with a moving coil cartridge?
The MM15 is for moving magnet cartridges. For moving coil, pair the I15 with a separate MM/MC phono stage such as the Primare R15.
Does it stream music?
No, the I15 is analogue only. Add a streamer to one of its line inputs, or look at the I15 Prisma MK2, which has streaming and a DAC built in.
Is there a price difference between black and titanium?
No. Both finishes cost the same and the electronics inside are identical. Titanium is a brushed silver-grey front panel; black suits darker furniture and racks.
