Primare DD35 CD Transport
A full-size CD transport with a TEAC drive and a separately powered, low-noise digital output.
£1,900.00
The DD35 reads CDs with the same dedicated TEAC drive as the CD35, then sends the signal out over coaxial or optical from a digital output stage with its own power supply. The DAC is up to you.

About the DD35 CD Transport
The DD35 is the transport in Primare’s 35 series. It leaves out the DAC and analogue stages of the CD35 and puts the effort into a low-resonance TEAC drive and an ultra-low-noise digital output with its own discrete power supply.
Primare designed it with their DAC-equipped modular models in mind: I25, I35 and PRE35 fitted with a DAC module. It works just as well with any outboard DAC or digital input.
It matches the full-size 35 series in width and style, with IR, 12 V trigger and RS232 for system control.
Genuine UK stock from an authorised Primare dealer. Not sure which Primare suits your speakers and the way you listen? Tell us what you have and we will help you choose. We install hi-fi, streaming and multi-room audio across the New Forest and the south coast. See our audio and video work.

Questions about the DD35 CD Transport
Can the DD35 play CDs on its own?
Only into a DAC. It has no analogue outputs, so it needs a DAC, or an amplifier or preamp with a digital input.
Which Primare amplifiers does it suit?
The I25, I35 and PRE35 when fitted with the DM36 DAC module (the DAC and Prisma versions).
