About the CD35 CD Player
The CD35 is the CD player in Primare’s full-size 35 series. A dedicated TEAC drive feeds an eight-channel ESS Sabre DAC and a carefully tuned output stage, with balanced XLR and RCA outputs and coaxial and optical digital outputs too.
It is modular. The CD35 Prisma comes with the SM35 Prisma module fitted, which adds streaming and a USB input. Prisma is Primare’s own streaming platform: AirPlay 2, Chromecast built-in, Spotify Connect, Bluetooth and Roon Ready, plus multi-room playback and the Prisma app for control and for playing music from network drives. Buy the plain CD35 now and the SM35 can be added later.
In fixed output mode it feeds any amplifier or preamp. The CD35 Prisma also has a variable output mode, so it can act as source and control centre for a pair of active speakers. It matches the I35, PRE35 and A35.2 in size and style.
Genuine UK stock from an authorised Primare dealer. Not sure which Primare suits your speakers and the way you listen? Tell us what you have and we will help you choose. We install hi-fi, streaming and multi-room audio across the New Forest and the south coast. See our audio and video work.
