The A35.8 is Primare’s multichannel power amplifier: eight channels of 150 W into 8 ohms, each with XLR and RCA inputs. Any pair of channels can be bridged, so it can be configured for anything from 5.1 to a high-power bi-amped stereo pair.

About the Primare A35.8 Eight-Channel Power Amplifier
The A35.8 is designed to power a home cinema or a multichannel music system from one box. Each of its eight channels gives 150 W into 8 ohms and 300 W into 4 ohms, and every channel has its own balanced and unbalanced input.
Channel pairs can be bridged to mono for more power. One A35.8 can run 5.1, 7.1 or 5.1.2 systems on its own; adding an A35.2 covers 5.1.4, 7.1.2 and 7.1.4. Fully bridged, it can bi-amp a pair of stereo speakers with four 375 W channels.
It switches on automatically when it senses a signal and drops to standby after twenty minutes of silence, which can be turned off. Primare announced it as an EISA Best Product for 2022-2023.

Questions about the Primare A35.8 Eight-Channel Power Amplifier
How many speakers can it run?
Up to eight in normal mode, enough for 5.1, 7.1 or 5.1.2. For larger layouts such as 7.1.4, add an A35.2 or a second A35.8.
Does it work with other brands of AV processor?
Yes. It takes XLR or RCA from any processor or AV receiver with preamp outputs.
Can I use it for stereo?
Yes. With channels bridged it can bi-amp a pair of speakers with a great deal of power. Ask us and we will help you plan the wiring.
Is there a price difference between black and titanium?
No. Both finishes cost the same and the electronics inside are identical. Titanium is a brushed silver-grey front panel; black suits darker furniture and racks.
