The A35.2 is Primare’s stereo power amplifier, built on the UFPD 2 platform with its own power supply and custom transformers. It gives 200 W per channel into 8 ohms, or 800 W into 8 ohms when bridged to mono.

About the Primare A35.2 Stereo Power Amplifier
The A35.2 is the power amplifier in Primare’s 35 series and the usual partner for the PRE35 preamplifier. Primare designed a new UFPD 2 power module and power supply for it, aimed at driving difficult speakers with plenty in reserve.
In stereo it delivers 200 W per channel into 8 ohms and 400 W into 4 ohms. Two A35.2s can be bridged to mono for 800 W per channel, or used to bi-amp a pair of speakers. It has both balanced XLR and RCA inputs.
It also works in home cinema, adding two powerful channels to an SPA25 or SP25 system for the front left and right speakers.

Questions about the Primare A35.2 Stereo Power Amplifier
Is the price for one amplifier?
Yes, one stereo amplifier. For bridged mono you need two, one per speaker.
What preamplifier should I use?
The PRE35 is the matching Primare preamplifier. The SC15 Prisma MK2 in variable mode also works, as does any preamplifier with XLR or RCA outputs.
Can it be used in a home cinema?
Yes. It is often added to an SPA25 or SP25 system to power the front left and right speakers.
Is there a price difference between black and titanium?
No. Both finishes cost the same and the electronics inside are identical. Titanium is a brushed silver-grey front panel; black suits darker furniture and racks.
