About the Blok Stax 2G Base Shelf

The Base carries the whole rack, so it comes with everything to start one: spikes for carpet, flat feet for hard floors, and the tools to put it together.

Each shelf holds up to 40 kg, with silicone isolation pads under the supports and concealed bungs so you can mass-fill the supports with Blok IsoFill. Shelves are 13 mm plywood or 10 mm black glass.

Stax 2G is designed and engineered at Blok’s headquarters in Rayleigh, Essex, and won the EISA AV Furniture award for 2024-2025.

Questions about the Blok Stax 2G Base Shelf

What do I add on top?

Any mix of Stax 2G 120, 170, 220 and LP shelves, up to Blok’s recommended maximum height of 1,100 mm. Or order a 3-shelf, 4-shelf or LP-Shelf collection in one go.

Will my components fit?

Each Stax 2G shelf gives 480 mm of usable width, so full-size hi-fi (usually 430 to 440 mm wide) fits easily.

Is a collection cheaper than separate shelves?

No, Blok price them the same, so build whatever mix suits your system. The collections are just a quicker way to order the popular set-ups.
