About the Blok Stax 2G 4-Shelf Hi-Fi Rack

Your electronics sound their best on a rigid, quiet platform. Stax 2G builds the isolation into the design: silicone pads sit between every shelf and under the supports, and concealed rubber bungs let you fill the supports with inert material such as Blok IsoFill.

It’s modular, so this 4-shelf rack can grow: add a 120, 170 or 220 shelf, or the tall LP shelf, later. Blok recommend a maximum height of 1,100 mm.

Shelves are 10 mm black tempered glass or 13 mm plywood in natural or black ash, with supports in satin white, natural walnut or high gloss black. Stax 2G is designed and engineered at Blok’s headquarters in Rayleigh, Essex, and won the EISA AV Furniture award for 2024-2025.

Genuine UK stock from an authorised Blok dealer. Want help placing speakers or building a rack around your system? We install hi-fi across the New Forest and the south coast. See our audio and video work.

Questions about the Blok Stax 2G 4-Shelf Hi-Fi Rack

Will my amplifier fit?

Each shelf has 480 mm of usable width, so full-size hi-fi (usually 430 to 440 mm wide, like the Roksan Caspian 4G at 432 mm) fits with room to spare. Leave an air gap around warm amplifiers.

Can I add shelves later?

Yes. Stax 2G is modular: add a 120, 170 or 220 shelf, or the LP shelf, up to Blok’s recommended maximum height of 1,100 mm.

Glass or plywood?

Both are built for strength and good acoustics. Black glass with high gloss black supports looks sleek; plywood is lighter and comes in natural ash with white supports or black ash with walnut supports.

Do I need IsoFill?

No, but filling the supports adds mass and damping. IsoFill is sold separately.
