About the System Audio Zen Microphone for Android (Room Correction)

Room Service is the room correction built into System Audio’s hubs. It measures how your room changes the sound and corrects for it. On an iPhone the phone’s own microphone is used, but Android phones must use the Zen microphone instead.

Zen is set up in SA Cockpit over Bluetooth, then joins your 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network. During a measurement you walk slowly around the room with it for 30 to 60 seconds, and it sends the results to the app.

It is battery powered and charges from the supplied power cable.

Questions about the System Audio Zen Microphone for Android (Room Correction)

Do I need it if I have an iPhone?

No. On an iPhone, Room Service uses the phone’s own microphone. Zen is for Android users.

Does it work with 5 GHz Wi-Fi?

No, only 2.4 GHz. If your router combines both bands, the guide suggests using a 2.4 GHz guest network or separating the bands for setup.

Does it work with Silverbar?

The user guide covers the Stereo Hub, Stereo Hub HT and Surround Hub. Silverbar room correction is listed for iPhone only, so ask us before ordering for a Silverbar.
