The Surround Hub X is System Audio’s most capable hub. It decodes Dolby Atmos and DTS:X, takes three HDMI sources, and sends up to eight channels wirelessly to Silverback speakers.

About the System Audio Surround Hub X Wireless Home Cinema Hub
Think of the Surround Hub X as a compact, wireless AV receiver for the Silverback range. It handles everything from a plain stereo pair up to 7.1 or 5.1.2 layouts, so you can start small and add speakers over time.
It has three HDMI 2.0b inputs, two optical inputs, an analogue line input and Ethernet, and decodes Dolby Atmos, Dolby TrueHD, Dolby Digital and DTS:X among other formats. Audio goes to the speakers over WiSA HT, up to eight uncompressed channels at 24/96.
Streaming is built in, including Tidal Connect, Qobuz Connect, Spotify Connect, Apple Music, Chromecast, AirPlay 2 and Bluetooth, and it is Roon Ready. Setup uses an on-screen display and a two-way RF smart remote, with SA Cockpit for channel setup, EQ and room correction.

Can I start with stereo and add surround later?
Yes. It works as a stereo hub too, so you can begin with a pair and add a centre, rear speakers and a subwoofer later.
