About the System Audio Silverback Sub Duo Passive Subwoofer (for Sub Solo)

Sub Duo looks the same as the Sub Solo and uses the same 8 inch Silverback Vulcano woofer, but it has no amplifier of its own. It plugs into the Sub Solo, which drives it from two amplifiers kept free for this purpose.

Two smaller subwoofers in different places usually give smoother, more even bass around a room than one larger one. That is the job of the Sub Duo: more depth and more even coverage, not just more volume.

Like the Sub Solo it has a built-in wall bracket, and rubber feet are supplied for floor placement.

Can I use the Sub Duo on its own?

No. It has no amplifier and must be connected to a Silverback Sub Solo.

Is the price for one subwoofer?

Yes, one Sub Duo with its 10 metre interconnect cable, rubber feet, power cable and fabric grille.

Is there a price difference between white and black?

No. White satin and black satin cost the same, and the speaker inside is identical. Each comes with a matching fabric grille.
