The Signature 40 is the floorstander of System Audio’s passive Signature range: a three-way, 95 cm tall speaker on a plinth. Sold as a pair, it connects to any good stereo amplifier or AV receiver.

About the System Audio Signature 40 Floorstanding Speakers (Pair)
Signature is System Audio’s range of passive speakers: you connect them with ordinary speaker cable to the amplifier or AV receiver of your choice. The Signature 40 is the largest model.
It uses a 1 inch Signature DXT tweeter, a 5½ inch Signature 15/4 midrange and two 5½ inch Signature 15/6 bass drivers in a bass reflex cabinet only 16.5 cm wide. With 90 dB sensitivity it does not need a powerful amplifier to play at good levels.
Use it as the main pair in a stereo system, or as the front left and right of a home cinema.

Is the price for one speaker or a pair?
A pair. You get two speakers and their fabric grilles.
What amplifier do I need?
Any decent stereo amplifier or AV receiver that is happy with 4 ohm speakers. The 90 dB sensitivity means it does not need a large amount of power.
Is there a price difference between white and black?
No. White satin and black satin cost the same, and the speaker inside is identical. Each comes with a matching fabric grille.
