About the SVS Ultra Evolution Pinnacle Floorstanding Speakers (Pair)
Ultra Evolution is SVS’ flagship passive speaker range: three towers, two standmounts, a centre and a height/surround model, all sharing a 1-inch diamond-coated aluminium dome tweeter, glass-fibre composite cones and curved, time-aligned cabinets. Pinnacle is the biggest and deepest-reaching model in it.
The curved front baffle lines the drivers up so their sound arrives at the listener at the same moment, and the midrange drivers and woofers are arranged symmetrically above and below the tweeter. The four woofers work in opposed pairs, front and rear, so their forces cancel inside the cabinet rather than shaking it. Each driver group has its own internal chamber.
They suit larger rooms where you want full-range sound without a separate subwoofer, for music or as the front pair of a home cinema. At 43.9 kg each and 1.27 m tall, plan the space and the amplifier before you buy.
Genuine UK stock from an authorised SVS dealer. Not sure which subwoofer or speaker suits your room? Tell us the size of the space and what you listen to, and we will help you choose. We install hi-fi and home cinema across the New Forest and the south coast. See our audio and video work.

Questions about the SVS Ultra Evolution Pinnacle Floorstanding Speakers (Pair)
Is the price for one speaker or a pair?
A pair. You get two Pinnacle towers in the finish you choose.
Which finishes can I choose?
Piano Gloss Black, Piano Gloss White or Black Oak, which is a real black oak wood veneer. The price is the same for all three.
Do I still need a subwoofer?
Not for music in most rooms: SVS rates them down to 24 Hz. For films many people still add one or two subwoofers to take the deepest effects and spread bass more evenly.
Can I bi-wire or bi-amp them?
Yes. Each speaker has two sets of gold-plated binding posts. SVS also makes the SoundPath Ultra Bi-Wire speaker cable.
