About the SVS SB17-Ultra Subwoofer

The 17-Ultra R|Evolution models are SVS’s flagship subwoofers, and the SB17-Ultra is the sealed one. It is built to play at reference level with very low distortion, in a cabinet of about half a metre each way.

The 17-inch driver has an 8-inch dual voice coil, a four-piece ferrite motor and a glass-fibre cone, powered by a Sledge STA-2800D dual-mono amplifier: 2,800 watts continuous and more than 6,000 watts peak. A 295 MHz DSP runs the bass management, limiter and Auto EQ room correction.

Connections include RCA and balanced XLR inputs and outputs, a trigger and an IR input, with a rear OLED display. Choose real black oak veneer or piano gloss black.

Genuine UK stock from an authorised SVS dealer. Not sure which subwoofer or speaker suits your room? Tell us the size of the space and what you listen to, and we will help you choose. We install hi-fi and home cinema across the New Forest and the south coast. See our audio and video work.
