About the SB-2000 Pro Subwoofer

The 2000 Pro range sits in the middle of the SVS line-up, in sealed (SB), ported (PB) and cylinder (PC) versions. The SB-2000 Pro is the sealed model, prized for quick, controlled bass that blends easily with music speakers.

Its 12-inch driver has an aluminium cone and twin ferrite magnets, driven by a Sledge STA-550D amplifier: 550 watts continuous and more than 1,500 watts peak. The DSP gives you low-pass, phase, polarity, room gain and three parametric EQ bands, set from the SVS app.

The cabinet is small enough to sit beside a sofa or a rack, and the grille is extra-thick ABS with a fabric cover.

Genuine UK stock from an authorised SVS dealer. Not sure which subwoofer or speaker suits your room? Tell us the size of the space and what you listen to, and we will help you choose. We install hi-fi and home cinema across the New Forest and the south coast. See our audio and video work.

Questions about the SB-2000 Pro Subwoofer

Is it sold singly?

Yes, the price is for one subwoofer. Many people run two for smoother bass across the room; ask us about a matched pair.

Is Gloss White a special order?

Yes. In the UK the Gloss White SB-2000 Pro is made to order, so it takes longer to arrive than Black Ash or Gloss Black. Order as normal and we will confirm the date with you.

Can I connect it to a stereo amplifier?

It has line-level RCA inputs, so it suits an amplifier or AV receiver with a sub or pre-out. If your amplifier only has speaker terminals, the SVS SoundPath Speaker Level Subwoofer Adaptor bridges the gap; ask us.

Can I avoid running a cable to the subwoofer?

Yes. The USB socket on the amplifier powers the optional SVS SoundPath Wireless Audio Adapter, so the sub only needs a mains socket. Ask us and we can add one to your order.
