About the SVS Prime Tower Floorstanding Speakers (Pair)
Prime is SVS’ mid-priced passive speaker family. It borrows ideas from the older Ultra range, such as aluminium dome tweeters with a shaped diffuser, separate internal chambers for each driver and chamfered front baffles, at a lower price. The Prime Tower is the smaller of its two floorstanders.
The two woofers each have their own ported chamber and work in a 3.5-way arrangement: the top woofer runs up to the midrange while the bottom one handles only the lowest bass. This keeps the sound focused and the bass full without a large cabinet.
They suit stereo listening in most living rooms and make a strong front pair for a home cinema with the Prime Centre and an SVS subwoofer.
