About the PC-2000 Pro Cylinder Subwoofer

The PC-2000 Pro is the cylinder member of the 2000 Pro range. By standing tall (87 cm) rather than wide, it gets the internal volume a deep ported sub needs from a footprint about the size of a dinner plate.

Its 12-inch driver fires down into the floor and a 4-inch port fires out of the back, with the Sledge STA-550D amplifier (550 watts continuous, 1,500 watts plus peak) mounted at the rear. The bottom-mounted driver keeps the centre of gravity low, and the SVS SoundPath isolation system is included to reduce rattles and floor boom.

It is set up from the SVS app over Bluetooth, with Standard and Sealed tuning modes, parametric EQ and presets.

Questions about the PC-2000 Pro Cylinder Subwoofer

Is it sold singly?

Yes, the price is for one subwoofer. Many people run two for smoother bass across the room; ask us about a matched pair.

Do I need port bungs?

Only if you want to use the PC-2000 Pro in its sealed (or extended) mode, which blocks some or all of the ports. Port bungs are available; ask us when you order and we will add them.

Does the driver firing into the floor matter?

Not for how it sounds: deep bass spreads in all directions. The isolation feet included in the box keep the cabinet decoupled from the floor.
