About the PB-3000 R|Evolution Subwoofer

The PB-3000 R|Evolution is the ported model in SVS’s 3000 R|Evolution series. Its larger cabinet and twin high-flow ports let the 13-inch driver go deeper and play louder than the sealed SB-3000, which is what big films and bigger rooms need.

The amplifier gives 1,200 watts continuous and more than 4,000 watts peak, controlled by a 295 MHz DSP. With port plugs fitted you can switch the app to Sealed mode for a tighter, quicker response; with the ports open it reaches 16 Hz.

Auto EQ room calibration, a rear OLED display, RCA and balanced XLR inputs, a trigger and an IR input are all built in.

Genuine UK stock from an authorised SVS dealer. Not sure which subwoofer or speaker suits your room? Tell us the size of the space and what you listen to, and we will help you choose. We install hi-fi and home cinema across the New Forest and the south coast. See our audio and video work.

Questions about the PB-3000 R|Evolution Subwoofer

Is it sold singly?

Yes, the price is for one subwoofer. Many people run two for smoother bass across the room; ask us about a matched pair.

Do I need port bungs?

Only if you want to use the PB-3000 R|Evolution in its sealed (or extended) mode, which blocks some or all of the ports. Port bungs are available; ask us when you order and we will add them.

How big is it?

About 56 cm high, 47 cm wide and 63 cm deep with the grille, and 38.6 kg. If that is too much for your room, the sealed SB-3000 R|Evolution is around 40 cm square.
