About the PB-2000 Pro Subwoofer

The 2000 Pro range sits in the middle of the SVS line-up. The PB-2000 Pro is its ported model: a cabinet of about 53 x 44 x 60 cm with twin 3-inch ports, built for deep, room-filling bass with films.

It uses the same 12-inch aluminium-cone driver and Sledge STA-550D amplifier as the SB-2000 Pro (550 watts continuous, 1,500 watts plus peak). In the SVS app you can run it in Standard mode for maximum depth or Sealed mode for a tighter, faster sound.

Line-level RCA inputs and outputs connect it to an AV receiver or preamp, and a 3 to 12 V trigger can switch it on with the rest of the system.

Genuine UK stock from an authorised SVS dealer. Not sure which subwoofer or speaker suits your room? Tell us the size of the space and what you listen to, and we will help you choose. We install hi-fi and home cinema across the New Forest and the south coast. See our audio and video work.

Questions about the PB-2000 Pro Subwoofer

Is it sold singly?

Yes, the price is for one subwoofer. Many people run two for smoother bass across the room; ask us about a matched pair.

Do I need port bungs?

Only if you want to use the PB-2000 Pro in its sealed (or extended) mode, which blocks some or all of the ports. Port bungs are available; ask us when you order and we will add them.

Will it fit in my room?

Allow about 53 cm high, 44 cm wide and 60 cm deep with the grille on, plus a little space around the ports. If space is tight, the SB-2000 Pro or the PC-2000 Pro cylinder take up less floor.
