About the PB-1000 Pro Subwoofer

The 1000 Pro range is where SVS subwoofers start. The PB-1000 Pro is the ported version: a bigger cabinet with twin 2.5-inch ports that lets the same 12-inch driver go deeper, down to 17 Hz, and play louder.

Its Sledge STA-325D amplifier gives 325 watts continuous and more than 820 watts peak. In the SVS app you can switch between Standard (ports open) and Sealed (ports blocked) tuning, and set the crossover, phase, room gain and parametric EQ from your seat.

It works with any AV receiver through its line-level inputs, and has speaker-level inputs for stereo amplifiers without a subwoofer output.

Genuine UK stock from an authorised SVS dealer. Not sure which subwoofer or speaker suits your room? Tell us the size of the space and what you listen to, and we will help you choose. We install hi-fi and home cinema across the New Forest and the south coast. See our audio and video work.

Questions about the PB-1000 Pro Subwoofer

Is it sold singly?

Yes, the price is for one subwoofer. Many people run two for smoother bass across the room; ask us about a matched pair.

Do I need port bungs?

Only if you want to use the PB-1000 Pro in its sealed (or extended) mode, which blocks some or all of the ports. Port bungs are available; ask us when you order and we will add them.

SB-1000 Pro or PB-1000 Pro?

The sealed SB is smaller and suits music and smaller rooms. The ported PB goes deeper and louder, which suits films in a medium room, but the cabinet is noticeably bigger.
