About the SVS 3000 Micro R|Evolution Subwoofer

The 3000 Micro R|Evolution is the smallest member of SVS’s 3000 R|Evolution series. It is built for rooms where a conventional subwoofer simply will not fit or would look out of place.

Two 9-inch drivers fire out of opposite sides, so their forces cancel and the cabinet stays still even when played hard. They are driven by a 1,200-watt continuous Class D amplifier (more than 4,000 watts peak) with a 295 MHz DSP and a switch-mode power supply.

The rear panel has an OLED display and both RCA and balanced XLR inputs, plus a trigger and an IR input for control systems. Everything else is set from the SVS app.

Genuine UK stock from an authorised SVS dealer. Not sure which subwoofer or speaker suits your room? Tell us the size of the space and what you listen to, and we will help you choose. We install hi-fi and home cinema across the New Forest and the south coast. See our audio and video work.

Questions about the SVS 3000 Micro R|Evolution Subwoofer

Is it sold singly?

Yes, the price is for one subwoofer. Many people run two for smoother bass across the room; ask us about a matched pair.

Can a sub this small really go deep?

SVS rate it at 20 Hz (±3 dB). The two opposed drivers and the 1,200-watt amplifier make up for the small box; what it cannot do is match the output of the big 3000 models in a large room.

Where should it go?

It needs a little space on both sides because the drivers fire sideways. It can sit on the floor, beside a sofa or in an open shelf with room around it.

Can I avoid running a cable to the subwoofer?

Yes. The USB socket on the amplifier powers the optional SVS SoundPath Wireless Audio Adapter, so the sub only needs a mains socket. Ask us and we can add one to your order.
