About the Q Acoustics 3050i Plus 5.1 Home Cinema Pack

The 3000i is one of Q Acoustics’ core ranges: slim, well-braced cabinets, a 22 mm decoupled tweeter and low-profile terminals that let speakers sit close to a wall. The Plus version of the 3050i 5.1 pack swaps the 3060S slimline subwoofer for a larger Q B12 with a 12-inch driver and a 440 W peak amplifier.

The 3050i floorstanders (twin 165 mm drivers, Point to Point bracing and HPE tuning) go at the front. A pair of 3010i speakers handles the surrounds, and the 3090Ci centre handles dialogue.

The 3010i surround speakers and the 3090Ci centre can be wall mounted with Q Acoustics' optional WB50 brackets, which are sold separately. The 3050i floorstanders stand on spikes.

What is in the pack?

Two 3050i floorstanding speakers, two 3010i standmount speakers, one 3090Ci centre speaker and one Q B12 active subwoofer.

Which subwoofer is it?

The Q B12, an earlier Q Acoustics 12-inch subwoofer. Q Acoustics describes its newer Q SUB100 and Q SUB120 as more powerful than the Q B12.

Are speaker cables included?

Q Acoustics does not list cables in the pack, so plan to buy speaker cables and a subwoofer lead separately.
