About the SM35 Prisma Streaming Module
Primare’s modular models are built so that features can be added later. The SM35 is the streaming part of that idea: with it fitted, an I25 or I35 becomes an I25 Prisma or I35 Prisma, a PRE35 becomes a PRE35 Prisma, and a CD35 becomes a CD35 Prisma.
Prisma is Primare’s own streaming platform: AirPlay 2, Chromecast built-in, Spotify Connect, Bluetooth and Roon Ready, plus multi-room playback and the Prisma app for control and for playing music from network drives.
In the I25, I35 and PRE35 the SM35 needs a DAC module already in place (DM36, or the earlier DM35). The CD35 has its own DAC, so it takes the SM35 directly.

Questions about the SM35 Prisma Streaming Module
Which Primare models does the SM35 fit?
The I25, I35, PRE35 and CD35. Primare lists it for these four models only.
Do I need a DAC module as well?
In the I25, I35 and PRE35, yes: a DM36 (or the older DM35) must be fitted. The CD35 has its own DAC, so no extra module is needed.
Can I fit it myself?
It goes inside the unit, so we suggest dealer fitting. Ask us when you order and we can arrange it.
